This morning was very busy.

It was the day that a collection company was coming to dispose of the "accumulated garbage and waste" in a vacant house owned by a customer, so after picking up the customer, I went to check it out. The result was excellent, and the house was emptied and refreshed. I paid $400 for the work and a tip, and the job was completed successfully.

After that, I went with the customer to the COX cable company store to return a dedicated tuner that was no longer in use. In fact, this customer is very elderly, but he still drives a car. Even in the United States, it is not uncommon for cars driven by elderly people to have serious accidents. At first, I said I would return it myself, but it was quite a distance to get there. I had a premonition, or rather, I was very worried, so I went with him in my car to take care of the errand.

When I finally finished and returned to the car, the customer asked me, "Can you stop by the casino for a bit before going home?" I don't dislike gambling, but I was still at work and had planned to finish some unfinished business in the afternoon. However, the next thing the customer said made it impossible for me to say NO. The reason was, "I put on a pair of pants I hadn't worn in a while and found a $100 bill in my pocket, so I want to use it." He wanted to gamble with me with the bill that I had completely forgotten about. If he begged me that much, I had no choice but to say YES!

The nearest casino was Jerry's Nugget Casino. I went straight there! Then I exchanged the $100 for two $50 bills in the Casino Cage and handed one of them to me. I felt a strange feeling at the time, both happy and embarrassed. After all, the only time I had received cash from someone else was in a New Year's gift, so it had been decades since then. As soon as he received it, this elderly customer disappeared into the casino floor. . .

I spent about half of my money on poker and Keno games, and finally managed to turn it around with the panda slot machine. I went from $50 to about $90, so I was feeling great. I only won $40, but it's not the amount, it's the feeling of elation when you win that's good. The customer almost spent it all, so in baseball terms, we lost by a shutout. But it's okay. I gave back the $50 I was given, and used the rest of the money for lunch for the two of us. Happily ever after.
