My thoughts on theater tickets and what I want right now

On the last day of April (30th), the Friends' Club of the Star Troupe sold tickets on a first-come, first-served basis for the Star Troupe's "1789 Les Amants de la Bastille."

While I was casually waiting for the show to begin in my seat at Umegei Theatre, I was browsing social media and saw that "Star Troupe first-come, first-served" was trending.

It seems like it was a very fierce battle.

There were mixed emotions, with some winning valuable tickets and others losing out completely.

Basically, the first-come, first-served tickets are rarely available through Friends' Clubs or ticket agencies, so it's only dependent on the lottery results. So I'm not obsessed with getting tickets = lol

First-come, first-served tickets are just too frustrating for me.

It's really frustrating when I can't get to the sales site.

There are some interesting expressions on social media, and one of them is "burnt wasteland."

It seems like the so-called ticket sales situation is lined up in a row.

Today, the "burnt wasteland" state was instantly visible.

I heard that there is another unique expression, "forest fire," which refers to the second floor being almost empty and rows of red seats.

Well, I think that forest fires are not seen at all in the current performances.

It seems that the first-come-first-served sales are in a terrible state (chaos), and there are posts on social media that incite it.

It seems like who benefits from posting such things?

I wonder what it would be like to stop the first-come-first-served (general sales are separate) and have a third lottery.

The lottery results would be a digital idea and there would be no frustration, and personally I think it would be okay if the results were announced in one go. (Hikari comparison)

What about resuming same-day ticket sales, which were suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic?

Well, people would probably line up from early in the morning for same-day tickets. Either way, there would probably be some dissatisfaction somewhere in the end.

A long time ago, I lined up for same-day tickets, and counted the number of people in line, and thought, "Oh, I think I can get a standing ticket."

It's nice to be able to see the results ahead.

In the past, tickets were readily available from card companies on the sales site, but now they're all gone.

They're all disliked. (Was it a mistake to stop using gold cards and go with standard cards?)

Now, what I want is Le Cinq and Theme Song 2022 Blu-ray from Casino Royale by the Cosmos Troupe.

I completely missed the timing to buy Le Cinq, so like the Blu-ray, I'll buy it at Quatre next time I see the Yuki Troupe at the Grand Theater.

And this might make me want tickets.

Snow Troupe 100th Anniversary, Greatest Dream. Scheduled to perform at Umegei in November.

Yeah, yeah, this is definitely going to make me want them.

And then there's Red and Black,

I'd like to see that too, although it depends on the performers.

January 2024 is still a long way off, but I can't wait to hear who'll be appearing.

I also want a smaller suitcase, which would be convenient for train trips, but quite expensive, so I'm still debating whether to get one or not
