Finally, I set off on my Hokkaido tour.

This year, I took two days of paid leave together before the summer vacation to take a long break.

It was a weekday, so I left at 3:30 so I could use the late-night discount on the highway.

I got on the highway at 3:45.

It was cold in a T-shirt and mesh, so I put on an extra layer at Kamisato SA.

And here I put on my secret weapon.

Throttle assist.

I bought it a long time ago, but this was the first time I'd put it on.

It's a lot easier now that I don't have to grip the grips as much.

I headed to Akagi Kogen SA to refuel while bathing in the morning sun.

I couldn't see much of Mt. Tanigawa.

I got off the highway at Niigata Kameda IC, and since I had time, I went to Bandai Bridge

Then I refueled and did some shopping before heading to the ferry pier.

When I tried to go to the counter to check in,

I heard that the private room card keys have been replaced with QR codes for e-tickets, so I lined up to board.

Get 2nd position 2 hours before boarding

Cool off at the terminal until boarding starts

Board at 11am

Booked a private room for Tourist S again

Take a bath right away

Depart Niigata Port at the scheduled 12pm

Listen to a mini Shinobue concert

Take a nap, then take a bath

For dinner, we had Nayoro Genghis Khan at a restaurant

Not great for the price, I guess?

The sun set like this, hiding behind clouds near the horizon

This time we had ice cream mochi

Woke up around 3am the next morning and checked the weather forecast

First of all, decide which direction to go

Finally we arrived at Otaru Port

Motorcycles are the last to disembark

The bike in the back is CL

And landed in Otaru just before 5am
